Now this is what it is called, The Firebox VoIP CyberPhone K. Designed as a front end for the rapidly expanding Skype network, it works in the same manner as that of other virtual networks like AIM and iChat. This handset serves as a basic USB microphone and speaker.
The free Skype software along with allows one to make free calls to other VoIP cyberphones and cheaper calls to landlines and cell phones worldwide. In terms of build quality it is quite basic but its low cost and ease of handling makes it worth a try and it also offers good quality voice calls.
On the flip side it requires broadband, cannot be easily installed on Mac and is wired.
