It is being speculated that Apple would be entering the VoIP market by including VoIP internet dialing as one of the features of iChat 4.0 which Apple might be bundling with the operating system overhaul nicknamed leopard. This would be putting iChat 4.0 which is a video conferencing and messaging application against similar VoIP solutions from heavyweights such as Google, Skype and Microsoft.

Certainly with the rising popularity of VoIP it is a known fact that VoIP is the future. Most of the companies are fighting to get a piece of the VoIP market as even a small company like Skype grew to become a billion dollar company with a user base of more than hundred million.
