A new mobile voice-and-email service called Office Anywhere has been launched by BT which brings together Microsoft Office applications and IP calling from WiFi hotspots. Even if you don't register for BT Openzone you can use Wi-Fi for making free VoIP calls. Aimed at SMEs this service can offer competition to push email services from Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone. Available with HTC's S620 smartphone you can enjoy free VoIP calls up to an hour from BT Openzone WiFi hotspots. You can even call back UK landline numbers absolutely free from Wi-Fi spots abroad.
There are a number of packages available and each of them includes free voip call option. One can either opt for a 250 or 700 minute per month call bundle in case of regular calls. Well if you are wondering about the price then it ranges from £39.50 monthly for 250 minutes, 100 emails per day and 10 MB of data transfer per month to £75.50 monthly for 700 minutes and unlimited email and data transfer. Looks to be a good offer to me!!
