Iotum, the 'social relevance engine' run by Alec Saunders snagged David Keys to be their Chairman of the Board recently. From what I've read about him, Iotum seems right up his alley. He's got upper-level degrees in law and business and brings 20+ years experience in the business world (much of it in telecom) to the table.
You may know David from his time as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Non-Linear Creations Inc. He also chairs the Advisory Boards of Future Path Inc. and FuseTalk Inc. His previous positions include Chief Operating Officer of Buystream Inc., Vice President and General Counsel of World Heart Inc., Rebel Inc. and Fulcrum Technologies Inc.
Iotum, in the last 30 days, has picked up their first customer, their first partner, a fabulous podcast by yours truly, and now a really savvy Chairman. My magic 8ball predicts great things…

I think social relevance engines are not fully understood and used these days. Maybe over a few years they will gain the credit they deserve.
