ClearOne has come out with Chat 50 which is the first speaker phone that allows Mac users to operate VoIP applications such as Skype and iChat by voice command by using Speakable items and new Speakables or Skype.

The combination of Chat 50 and Speakables offers Mac users flexibility and control in the Mac Digital Home environment. Using these products one could simply control VoIP applications without the requirement to access the keyboard, mouse or viewing the screen. The advanced audio processing technologies of the Chat 50 offers full duplex audio and full ECHO cancellation hence Mac users get greater choice and flexibility. User could watch their favorite program or listen to iTunes with the sound output through their main speakers using Skype.
