Phew!! Finally Skype has gone ahead and announced officially the latest version of Skype for Mac and is available in nine languages and has a number of improvements too. This includes improved contact list, an easy to use contact search function, calls in window and chat drawer and an Easy dialer for paid for calling to landline phones and mobiles. Along with the software, Skype has gone ahead and introduced for the first time starter packs Macs to enable Mac users running faster.
It is still available in the beta version and has donned a refreshing look to its main window and chat drawers and with the help of drag and drop we get a new resizable chat drawer which enables one to simplify sorting, adding and removing chats. What one would also find is improved integration with Apple's Address Book and Microsoft's Entourage which is meant for easier organizing of contacts and a quickfilter search function within the Skype contact list. The latest version supports seven more languages which include German, French and Spanish. One could go ahead and download the video preview of Skype for Mac.
