The name is danger but I didn't find out to be dangerous. To me it seems to be a simple and sober no nonsense VoIP phone. Probably the company named it 'Danger' in order to alert other companies that this phone could be a threat to their handsets in the market.
Compatible with Skype and other VoIP applications which recognizes a standard USB handset and supports SIP standard, this USB VoIP phone is a plug and play device and gels with both Windows XP and Mac OS X.
This device is different from the other sets on the block as it is a simple phone. It is not a hip hop phone which you find nowadays but what the company states is a 'real' phone minus the gimmicks. I never realized that in order to create a no-nonsense phone the company would do away with the screen but this is ok as the main purpose of the phone is to connect to Mac via USB. The buttons of the phone are easy to press and be sure that the numbers won't wear off. This white beauty is not a bad deal at $29.99.
