Skype has come up with a dual line cordless phone which works with both Skype service line and regular phone line. The USB Cordless Dualphone is priced at $140 and looks like a land line cordless phone with a small handset and a recharging station base.

The phone has got two green buttons using which one could place calls over the Skype network or traditional landline phone. It also has different ring tones for landline and Skype calls. In its small screen is a scrolling list of Skype contacts and the voice quality is clear and consistent. As compared to other cordless phones, this phone can be taken outside the home other than where the base station is plugged without distorting the sound. In order to get incoming calls on the Dualphone one is required to purchase a SkypeIn phone number for $38 for a year or for $13 for three months.
