eComm2008: Emerging Communications Conference

eComm2008 was created by Lee Dryburgh to fill in the void created by the highly successful, but shelved eTel conference by O'Reilly. It's being held at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View on March 12-14. From their marketing email:

eComm brings out the visionaries, emergent technologies, real-world startups, cutting-edge academic projects, views from the incumbent telecom players; garage based hacks and stirs required policy debates to create the ultimate three-day conversation.

If last year's eTel was any indication, this will be an event you won't want to miss. And if you sign up by the end of the year, you get $300 off the registration fee.

  • Testimonials

  • 'Yours is the one blog most tightly aligned with my interests, most "great articles" from my point of view'

    'Cool site!'

'Great information especially nowadays where the development is amazingly fast.'

I find it very creative and with unique news, which I think is great compared to some other blogs that just copy other blog's content.
