Free Fever Spreads to Gizmo Project
The free fever is spreading fast and furious. You have to read this to believe me and the origin of this fever can be traced to Skype which had introduced free calling as a promotional plan to boost its market share and so did Jajah. This fever has spread to SIPphone which has gone ahead and announced free calls to PSTN and mobile phone for users of its VoIP IM service, Gizmo Project.

This is not a new trend, earlier also VoIP faced challenge from SIPphone and Gizmo Project turned out to be the first to offer a graphical measure of voice quality in its client and was the first to let users interject sound effects into their calls and it has an IM like Skype and offers voice mail for free.

The free concept is certainly looking good and catching fast but I have certain inhibition regarding whether GizmoProject will be able to catch hold of the required numbers in order to compete with Skype. The free concept is looking good from the viewpoint of consumers but for how long? Will it last forever even if the companies have deep pockets?

One thing, just keep in mind, don't make long calls otherwise the company might interrupt it. Now what you waiting for go ahead and enjoy it.
