What benefit is there to Boingo? Free marketing. What benefit is it to Fring? Not entirely sure. What benefit of there to end users as a result of this partnership? The Fring client will automatically log into a Boingo access point.
This seems an awful lot like a Barney partnership to me. Anyone know or think differently?

does this mean it is free? or are they just promoting something that already exists? i do not think fring users were being blocked from using boingo before.

It's promoting something that already exists. I get the same deal with my Nokia N800, i.e. it's nothing special.
