Today Ebay will disclose how it will integrate the VOIP services of Skype into its main U.S. auction business. The company is also planning to encourage eBay sellers to embed Skype calling links into auction pages in a few product categories which includes real estate, cars and diamond solitaire rings. The main selling point of eBay has been the click to call features through which eBay customers can contact sellers directly via text message, voice or video conference.

It is expected that web based integration would form a major part of integration of Skype and eBay. It is being seen that Skype requires more of the desktop and eBay wants that people start using Skype for just more than phone calls and text chat.
