It's nice to see FWD (formerly Free World Dialup) try and get back in the game by tying into one of the most successful social networks: Facebook. FWD has created a Voicemail application that allows you to send voicemail from within Facebook to another Facebook user. Your computer has to support Java in order to do this, unfortunately.
I'm actually surprised they didn't launch a way to send VM to a Facebook user through FWD right off the bat. What would be better than the Java applet would be if the system would call me on my FWD number and allow me to record my message that way. Another cool thing would be to integrate my FWD voicemail straight into Facebook.
There's lots of possibilities here, but it's a nice first start.
