It seems that it is a rumor week. Just recently I told you about rumors regarding Jajah making a place in the Apple phone and now a rumor is making rounds that Google is in talks to create a Google phone. It is being said that Google along with Orange and HTC plans to create a Google Mobile Phone and if everything goes well you will have the device in your hand by the year 2008.
This may sound as rumors to some but people cannot deny the fact that Google over the past has been trying to fulfill its mobile ambitions. Om says that though one might pass it off as a rumor but the presence of Danger guy, Andy robin reaffirms our doubt that Google might be coming out with their Google Phone.
It is being said that it would either be a smart phone or PDA with a LCD screen somewhat like video iPod and will have a built in Google software which is expected to make internet surfing a joyous experience.
I was just wondering whether this phone would be named 'Gphone'. I hope this name has not been taken away like the name which was given to the so called 'iPhone' from Apple which Cisco had already registered it way back in 1996.

Wow, it looks like Google really wants to expand in other areas too. I find it surprising though, this was certainly unexpected by most of us.
