From today itself i.e. 21st February, customers of GrandCentral will be able to assign their free Gizmo Project profile ID which would be appearing like a 747 area code number in their Gizmo profile as one of their destination numbers. This number would ring on certain Nokia dual mode Nseries cell phones or your computer or internet tablet. Now existing Gizmo users will be able to receive calls for free from traditional phone networks on their Nokia Phones compatible with Gizmo along with Windows and Macintosh based computers.

Owners of Nokia Nseries 800 Internet Tablet and Nokia dual mode N80 Internet Edition cell phone and Internet Tablet 770 can receive all the calls without paying any roaming charges or using any cellular minutes while being connected to the Wi-Fi networks. With GrandCentral users of GizmoProject don't need to buy a separate number and hence can save to the tune of $35.
