jkontherun and gizmodo have reported that FCC has given an approval to a phone which looks similar to the one from D-Link. This phone has 802.11 b/g, 16 MB of memory, e-mail support and works on the SIP protocol. The phone boasts of an indoor range of expected 20m to 50m and outdoors one can wander up to 250m away from the local WLAN.
One should wait to see whether this is DPH-540 or a younger model.
