Jajah Going Native on iPhone

Jajah recently announced that they are working on a native iPhone application to use their service. Specifically, you will be able to use Jajah to make voice over IP calls using WiFi instead of GSM.

Luca Filigheddu reports
that he had a conversation with James Body over at Truphone, a competitor to Jajah, and found out that making a call on SIP versus GSM is little more than "a toggle switch." Same interface.

Just wonder whether iPhone’s CPU will be enough to do something with G711u/G711a quality.

It should be. G.711 isn’t too bad. It’s G.729 and the like that’s really CPU intensive.
