I suppose one way to stand out from the pack is to do something others don't do. In this case, PerfSpot, one of these social networks I hadn't heard of before now, teamed up with Jangl to provide 8 million profiles ways of connecting via the mobile phone without sharing your most personal details-free with ads, of course.
It's a great boon to the people that use PerfSpot, but I have to admit it, PerfSpot doesn't solve a problem I have that isn't solved by something I'm already using. Despite my crankiness with the me-too-ness of PerfSpot, it's good for the folks at Jangl as it yet another feather in their cap lined with partnerships.
