Lasers USB VoIP Phone- Simply Uninspiring
Here comes another VoIP phone which looks like an ordinary corded phone. Lasers USB VoIP phone is totally uninspiring. The features of the phone are limited but one solace about this phone is that it offers a large monochrome LCD which displays caller ID information and selectable ring tones.

What goes for this phone:

The phone can be connected to the PC via a standard USB connection and the cord is pretty long so that one can sit at least a meter or two back.

It is quite compact and it can be easily dashed into the laptop bag if one has access to mobile broadband.

The setup is quite simple and it can be easily used as a normal phone.

What goes against this phone:

The finishing of the phone is in bright red plastic and that goes against it. It gives it a gaudy look.

It works only with Skype.

The phone has no volume control so one cannot adjust the volume in the middle of the call.

There are just six different tones and the volume is not adjustable.

Has no special answering or divert modes and there is no speed dial function.

Priced at $59, it can just fulfill your basic needs of calling and one shouldn't expect much from it.

My opinion: Another run of the mill product.
