Skype shut its doors to free calls but other VoIP providers are trying to maintain that tradition. Continuing with my efforts towards informing you about the various tempting offers this Christmas, here is another one and this time it is from MediaRing which under a promotional offer is doling out free calls to five major destinations for users signing up for their service. The countries under the offer are China, Canada, Singapore, U.K and U.S.
Besides the free PC calls, users will be able to make free unlimited calls on landlines and cell phones in all the above mentioned countries except U.K. In the case of U.K. one can only make free calls on landlines. The offer is valid from 20th Dec till 6th Jan of the New Year.
Certainly a nice time to come up with a promotional offer as users will be able to get in touch with their friends and relatives and wish them Christmas and New Year without needing to worry about their pockets which might get empty after filling up their shopping carts this festive season.
