It is expected that Microsoft is going to enter the iPod market with a bang by including VoIP to its new Zunes iPod. The presence of VoIP would make it a Wi-Fi phone. As per Microsoft, the device would be having built in Wi-Fi and the company is also planning a project called FonePlus which would combine a phone with basic computer functions. All these features would be merged in its Zunes iPod.
Since the device already has Wi-Fi capabilities it would not be difficult to add VoIP to it and it would also be having built in audio features. Microsoft is also planning to give this device social networking capabilities.
To me Zunes looks likes an exciting iPod which could give Apple a run for its money.
