Today Yahoo! Messenger with Voice would be introducing customer plug in features and would allow developers to custom made applications. Plug-in applications would be there for Yahoo! 360, Amazon.com and eBay. One might also see integration with Flickr and other popular community sites as well as through developer created plug-ins.

The new soundboard feature enables people to add short sound effects into their conversations along with birds chirping and audience booing sound effects. One can drag and drop MP3 music files stored on their PC and while chatting with friends the music would play in the background.

Tom had always wished for VoIP softphones to stream MP3 for years and had recommended this feature to companies including plantronics to conference the PC connection with the telephone so that one could stream any sound using the headset and any PC audio software media player that one wants.
