Open-Xchange Announces VoIP Integration

Open-Xchange has announced the integration of VoIP into its email server offering.

"Open-Xchange version 6.16 has been integrated with VoIPNow Professional from 4PSA to create bundled versions of the two products for on-premise installations and hosted solutions," writes PCWorld's Mikael Ricknäs. "Users can start a call from the address book and receive faxes and voice mails, which are tagged so they can be easily separated from other messages, in [the] Open-Xchange email inbox."

"This is possible owing to a partnership between Open-Xchange and 4PSA, an innovative software supplier specialized in unified communications, VoIP delivery solutions, business and operations automation," writes TMCnet's Shamila Janakiraman.

"The VoIPNow Bundle, available now, is aimed at cloud-based services providers and on-premises end-users," writes VON's Charlene O'Hanlon.
