BCM, have you heard about it? It has come up with a multi format VoIP Wi-Fi phone based on the Windows CE kernel. Called the WLAN800I, this phone is compatible with SIP services, MSN Messenger, MSN Talk and Skype.
The good thing about this phone is that it does not require a PC for it to function and all it requires is an 802.11b/g wireless access point connected to the internet. Since it has a built in media player therefore it includes a stereo headphone jack which can also be used for streaming music. Has a standby time of sixty hours along with three hours talk time. The size of the screen is 2.2 inches with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and a display of 65,000 colors
It supports three way calling and has the ability to connect via MSN Messenger to someone who has a web cam. Other features include support for T-Mobile, WEP and WPA encryption as well as DHCP and static IP addresses. It is expected to be available in the market from mid of July.
Not a bad phone. Worth a try until and unless you are not brand conscious.

its an superb innovation – as by using this phone we will pay 0 charge for any number of calls we make – to and from any destination in this world- so all we need is an internet connection to use this phone .Its simply unbeliveable to think that in future communication becomes not cheaper but FREE.
