Portable VoIP through WebMessenger Mobile for Skype

You are away from your PC and would like make VoIP calls? No need to worry as there is WebMessenger Mobile for Skype has been launched which allows users to make and receive VoIP calls from a number of compatible devices which includes Palm handhelds, BlackBerry devices, J2ME Java phones and WinMo Pocket PCs.

Using this one could call anywhere in North America for free and the overseas connection based on Skype's low rates. The free version of the software enables Click-to-Call, text chat and twenty contacts whereas the paid version adds hundreds of contacts and four way conferencing.

One thing which is required to be noted is that one has to leave the Skype software running on your computer in order to make the WebMessenger Mobile to work.
