If you are traveling across Europe then you don't need to be worried about spending too much on your calls as Truphone has tied up with free-hotspot.com which allows VoIP users to make and receive VoIP calls from their cell phone in over seven hundred hotspots in fourteen European countries.
Under the inaugural offer Truphone users will have free access to the Wi-Fi network of freehotspot and only the existing Truphone VoIP charges would apply. Starting from 15th of May the calls would be charged at 3p per minute above the normal rates. As of now the Truphone service is available only on select Nokia Wi-Fi phones but the company will soon be offering this service on Windows enabled Wi-Fi phones too.
