In the Skype 2.0 beta, Skype's free Outlook Toolbar is being pushed in a big way. I believe that this will spread the idea amongst Skype users that Skype and Outlook work better together. Users who want deeper integration and richer functionality will seek our Skylook toolbar as it offers more features than Skype's own Outlook Toolbar such as the option to record calls to MP3 and have them stored in Outlook, IM chat recording into Outlook, the Skylook call recording monitor and other features as listed on www.skylook.biz.
If it were me I'd have been pissy. They just shouldn't have taken a great add-in, and usurped it without some sort of financial offer or even a thanks. Kindof a slam to the developer community they worked (to that point) so hard to nourish. But, that's just me...
