Skype Dishes Out Free Calls to U.S. Users
Few days back Skype was offering free calls to Canadian customers to U.S. or Canada and now in order to give a big push to SkypeOut. It is offering the U.S. Skype users sixty minutes of free calls to thirty international countries.

You all must be wondering why Skype keeps on dishing free stuff now and then. Even though Skype has a big customer base still most of them make use of Skype to Skype chat and the users of their value added services are quite less which is the bread and butter of the company. Also competition seems to be hotting up from each end as big names are plunging in this VoIP pool in order to give Skype a run for its money.

Skype is trying all possible avenues to generate revenue. It has added a SkypeMe button to eBay, its software is being embedded in mobile phones and VoIP phones but on the mobile front it may face problems as mobile phone operators block VoIP services in order to prevent their revenue from spilling over to VoIP companies.

Thnx Steve
