The problem started from the middle of October and has further deteriorated since then. Angry users are receiving apology mails from Skype with a promise of compensation. It seems the situation is getting out of control and with users losing out on clients and missing contacts it would be very tough for Skype to win back its customers.
A few days back people had complained about the Free UK Promotion Offer and now SkypeIn. What has happened to Skype? If the string of unhappy customers continues, Skype would have a very tough time wooing them. Why doesn't Skype realize that VoIP is a highly competitive market where competitors are trying to snatch customers from each and a small mistake can leave a very big impact on their business.

I have two SkyeIn numbers, at first both worked fine. For several weeks now one of the SkypeIn numbers continually rang busy, I contacted customer service several times and no fix or response. Today I checked the other number, and now it's ringing busy - which was the number I use for my business. Now I'm losing customers because they can't ring through.
Someone commented that SkypeIn was BETA, excuse me, BETA or not, we have to pay for this service. Not to mention that it's been in BETA mode for quite awhile now, so shouldn't the bugs have been worked out?!
I'm looking for another VOIP service that can deliver and that has actual customer service.
I would not recommend Skype to anyone.
