Remember in one of my earlier posts I had told you about Skype's free U.K. call offer? If not then let me remind you that the offer stated that U.K. customers on purchase of Skype credit worth £10 were eligible for making free calls to UK landline numbers which included Channel Islands and isle of man. It seems that the offer has gone a little haywire. People who had opted for this service are still waiting to avail those free calls. The proof to this is the Skype forum which is getting feedbacks from its angry customers.
On the other hand Skype commented:
We are really sorry to hear that some users have experienced problems with Talk for Britain. We are working extremely hard to resolve these issues and will update our website as soon as the problems are resolved.
Though the problem would surely get resolved but it would definitely leave some bad memories with Skype users in U.K.

Another bad PR move. They should made sure the voip service was ready to make it free. I wonder who’ll go down first, Skype or Vonage. Hah.
i need free call to uk. if skype provide this facility thn its really greatful to us.
