If you have a Playstation Portable (PSP)- which might not be a lot of people-now you can use it to get onto Skype and make free calls over WiFi. Supposedly, you've got to have a Sony psp slim and Lite (a.k.a. PSP-2000) and upgrade your firmware to the latest at this writing, which is 3.90, and then you can get your Skype on!
Given how unlikely it is I will ever own a PSP-my house is a Nintendo house, thank you-I doubt I will ever get to experience this firsthand. However, if it's anything like Skype on the Nokia N800/N810, it should be a winner. I do wonder how text chat will work without a proper keyboard, though.

Re PSP-200: I confirmed with a user today: No keyboard — no chat. On the other hand it will do SkypeOut calls. Need to wait for the Sony mylo COM-2 for a device with chat support (since it has a keyboard — and was available on the original mylo).
Knew it wouldn’t support chat. How useless.
