I have always loved the performance of Sony phones and now the company has gone ahead and launched the updated version of its popular P990. This is P1 which on the first look would look smaller when compared with the P990 and definitely it is. This upgraded version is twenty five percent smaller as compared to the P990 and this proves that Japanese always stand to the notion that small is beautiful.

It has a 3.2 mega pixel camera with Auto focus Digital zoom though a better pixel camera would have made it a better option. Bloggers should certainly opt for it since there is a picture blogging option which is a free downloadable application. There are other features such as media player, business card scanner plus a 512MB memory stick micro. It also offers push email solutions and web browsing applications and above all provides VoIP support. You can buy this phone in the third quarter of 2007 and if you are wondering about how much you will have to shell out for it then as of now there is no word on it.
