Another spyware in the offing and this time it is for the people of Turkey. This time the spyware approaches the user through e-mail claimed to have been sent from Skype and is written in Turkish.

How it bamboozles the user is that this e-mail foxes the user to download Skype through clicking on the enclosed link and this takes them to the site, which is claimed to be the Turkish version of the Skype website, but it is not. This is a fraud site which has a malicious file called skypekur.exe which when executed installs multiple recovery password tools on the system and steals the passwords from e-mail clients, IM applications and FTP programs from the system. The stolen passwords are then sent to the sender of the e-mail. It is quite simple and you might never come to know that somebody has hacked your computer. I would request all my readers and people based in Turkey to ignore such mails or face the music of spyware masterminds.
