When I started digging into the functionality of a Nintendo DS, I realized just how scary this device can be in the hands of babes. It's got WiFi and possibly "voice chat" capabilities right in the box! I've heard of the possibility of a normal web browser running on these things. That opens a huge pandora's box.

Thankfully, the web browser and this SvSIP program that some developers put together require some "special" hardware, namely something called a Supercard. It's unlikely I will buy this for my kid, though I have to hope nobody around here has got one.

Anyway, SvSIP is a simple SIP client for your Nintendo DS. If you have an account on a SIP proxy, you can use this to register and make/receive calls. From your Nintendo DS.
