You would really love this new device from Verizon. This is Verizon One, an all in one communications device using which users will be able to search the web, check their mails, stream music, preview images from a digital camera, view calendar and above all make VoIP calls. In order to make this a possibility the company partnered with Open Peak.
You might complain about your web browsing experience with this device since you can view only some of the approved content such as weather, news and movie listings. I was just wondering why Verizon isn't allowing a full browsing experience, probably one of the reason could be that it would like to let only those websites to work which could gel with the small screen or would like its customers to browse only those websites which are of commercial interest to the company.
The cordless phone along with it looks a bit tacky but will be compatible with the VoiceWing VoIP service for FiOS from Verizon. This device will be supporting both traditional and VoIP calls. You will also be able to enjoy streamed music through attached stereo speakers and even preview images and video from your digital camera. You will also be able to connect to a printer, play movie trailers and support up to five handsets with this device. You will be able to avail the service through a combination of built in Wi-Fi and Ethernet connection in order to enable access to internet based content. Looks really cool to me!!

They pack too much features into 1 device. I would rather talk on my cell phone and browse the web on my laptop or pc.
