The Fresh Google Talk
Google is always trying something or the other. This time it has gone ahead and introduced the latest version of its Google Talk instant messaging and VoIP client. Google made use of online feedbacks regarding the features which its users required. It has gone ahead and included the facility of transferring files and sending and receiving voicemail messages at no cost. Also expect fastest speed as Gtalk makes a direct connection to your buddy's computer.

Existing users don't need to worry as the software would update itself automatically or one could go ahead and download the software from the Google Talk site itself. Using the file-sharing feature one could drag and drop photos or documents directly into the message window for transferring them to another contact and expect a faster file transfers between the users. There is also something for music lovers. One could get to know what music they are listening to in the status information.

Message to other VoIP providers, Google is catching up slowly but steadily.
