It has an attractive user interface and one could customize the desktop by moving visible applications from SIDE to side and add or remove applications from the desktop. One can run application in full screen mode and make use of one of the hardware buttons on the left side of the unit in order to access the context menu so that the application could be brought back to the normal size.
With its touchscreen function one can write directly on the screen using an input panel and the handwriting recognition was found out to be extremely good and accurate. The internet browser is quite good and it supports javascript and CSS technologies. The e-mail client disappoints as there was no folder management on the client and one could only access the inbox, sent, outbox folders on IMAP-compatible server. With regards to VoIP access, it supports the Google Talk client and one could also find a port of the Gizmo Project client for this unit and it Gtalk worked
fine over the writer's connection.
This is more of a consumer device and not meant for business purposes as it does not support the appropriate level of software. Overall it is a decent device for someone who is not looking for
a PDA.
