
Till now you had been using laptops from Toshiba but now you can even use their phones. The company has unveiled two pretty phones – first on the list is G500 which is a slider phone having a two mega pixel camera, a 2.3 inch TFT screen, 3G capabilities and Windows Mobile 5.0 , MP3/ACC+ player besides VoIP and Wi-Fi capability. This phone also boasts of a security feature called fingerprint scanner which uses your fingerprint for authentication and you may have surely seen this security feature in the Toshiba range of laptops too. This phone will be available by the end of the April and will retail for £300.
Another on the list is G900 which is a smartphone having existing features of G500 along with additional features such as Windows Mobile 6, QWERTY keyboard and a touch screen. It has a three inch TFT screen which is bigger than the screen of G500 and weights around 198 grams which is heavier as compared to G500. As of now there is no word on its price or release date.
