Uniden Win1200- The Cordless VoIP Phone
The cordless phone on your left is Uniden Win 1200, one of the latest VoIP phones available which uses Windows Live! Messenger and not Skype which can be found in most of the VoIP phones available today. Available with a 5.8GHz wavelength this phone won't interfere with your 802.11b/g home wireless connections.

As far as the display is concerned it is a full color backlit display with regular features such as Polyphonic ringer melodies, ringtones and alerts for contacts, messages and emails. You also have a speakerphone option and a 2.5 mm headset plug. The looks are not too bad, is lightweight and sound quality is also quite good.

One thing which would irritate you about this phone is that in order to use MSN Live features you need to be near your computer and besides that IE6 also needs to be installed on your computer. Another thing that you won't like about this phone is that the backlight would only turn on if you get a call or pick up your phone from the base station so in case you would like see something on the screen without picking it up that won't be possible. Overall not a bad phone, you can try it for once.

Thnx buzzmebaby
