Solomon has reported something different. Although Webacall is similar to other VoIP services but it has two features which set it apart from other VoIP services. The first is per second billing, subscribers are billed per second as compared to per minute strategy which is followed by most of the service providers. This offers significant benefits to the customers as they are charged for the number of seconds they talk rather than the entire minute.
The second is Missed call callback feature which enables the customers to access their account from any phone worldwide. It's quite simple. Just log on and register your number against the userid. Once your number gets registered you need to call webacall access number from your regular phone and one would get to hear a busy tone which implies that you would not be charged anything for the call as the webacall system would recognize the number , authorize the number against the account and call it back. This would enable you to call the number of your choice without any extra charges. More than one number could be registered and the account could be used from your workplace, home or cell phone. My advise to all base on my experience with Webacall, don’t yopu touch them with a long stick, service is unreliable, they do not respond to issues,they provide no contact number for customer care, they say per second billing but steal the seconds leading to minutes.
I bought a calling card account on 1/30/08 and not a single call went through with out a glitch, at times i could hear other people talking, i sent them several emails and not even a response.
Please don’t ever spend your money with them.
Thank God i paid through Paypal, paypal will shut them down in no time after people start complaining.
