Finally!! Windows Live Messenger has been launched. Earlier what we were using was the beta version. Now everybody is free to download it. It is being said in the media circles that this is Microsoft's reply to the popular Skype VoIP.
Soon we would be seeing Microsoft Live Messenger supporting calling Yahoo Messenger with Voice application. This is not good news for Skype which does not interoperate with any other IM client as it uses a Proprietary architecture instead of the SIP standard but still we cannot treat Microsoft Live Messenger as the perfect IM client.
