Finally! Google click-to-call is launched
Finally!! Google has introduced their click- to call- feature through Google Maps. The calls are absolutely free on both sides. We had earlier heard stories that click-to-call project had been scrapped but it all turned out to be false. We were all waiting for it and now can see a call link in search results and on clicking it a form opens where you need to enter your number. This looks a good feature to me. Click-to-call has been powered by VoIP and not Skype.

This in fact is a simple service and you just need to type in the stuff you require and city and the state and then enter your number and get connected through VoIP and the voice quality is also quite appreciable.

You all must be aware that for quite some time Windows Live Local had been offering click-to-call. Though this concept has been around for quite some time but Google by the virtue of its power can do a lot more justice to this concept. Probably now Google would bank upon ads for making it a profitable venture.

thnx tom
