Get a Numbr
From relationship-based numbers, a-la Jangl, we now move to transaction based numbers with a service called Numbr (pronounced Numb-ar).

Numbr, which was originally called craigsnumber, provides a service that allows you to generate a short-term telephone number. When I interviewed the creator of Numbr several weeks ago, he explained that he got tired of people calling him for an item he sold on craiglist. He wondered if others had the same problem, and knew how to solve it. A service was born.

Numbr will give you a short-term telephone number from one of nearly 30 major cities. The number is good for anywhere from an hour to a month. You can choose the period of time and set various other options such as call screening, do-not-disturb times, and more. You can even extend or terminate the number on the website. You can get your own Numbr without even using a computer: dial 415-234-5678 from any phone.

This service is absolutely dirt simple and works fantastically. Anyone selling something online or offline should seriously consider using Numbr and get some piece and quiet when you're selling stuff!
