Here comes a Chinese company called Grand Digital Information which is trying hard to offer VoIP devices at cost effective prices by using ARM9 processor and standard components. It is selling these products under brand name Grandi

The first product on the list is Grandi's GIP300 IP phone which is an entry level IP phone.

The features offered with the phone are:

Dual 10/ 100M Ethernet ports that can be configured as either switched or routed ports Built-in NAT Router/DHCP server High quality full duplex hands-free speakerphone with acoustic echo cancellation Message waiting indicator Headset jack Supports G.711, G.723.1, G .729A /B

With this phone two SIP servers can be registered simultaneously and it also offers around eight types of ring tones. The price for this phone is just $30 but the catch is that to avail this attractive price you need to buy 100,000 pieces of it.

The next item on the list is Grandi GIX100 VoIP ATAs which too is also a cost effective product. It can be easily configured and offers a good selection of codecs which includes G.711, G.723.1, G .729A /B. With dual 10/ 100M Ethernet ports it can be easily configured as either switched or routed ports and has a support message waiting indicator and built in NAT router/DHCP server. This product too is available at an affordable price of $28 subject to purchase 100,000 pieces of it.

In terms of affordability certainly these are wonderful products from Grandi.
