Ooma's Still Alive. So?

Apparently the folks on CrunchGear follow Pat Phelan on Twitter like I do. Pat reported that Ooma-the VoIP service the blogosphere universally hates-is alive and well. From his Twitter:

got a nice email from Andrew Frame at Ooma, no truth in the Rumours, all going well

I don't really care either way. I still think the idea is stupid and not a single person has tried to convince me otherwise. Anyone care to challenge that view?
