panasonic has gone ahead and launched the latest range of VoIP phones dubbed as Globarange cordless DECT and VoIP phones. This digital cordless phone can be used for making both fixed or VoIP calls and you don't even require a computer for this purpose. The first handset on the list is BB-GT1540 which is a home office model having a numberpad equipped base station so that calls can be made from either the handset or speakerphone of the base station. This model is priced at £129.99. Next on the list is the BB-GT1520 which is a lot similar to the model mentioned above but comes without a numberpad and it has been priced at £99.99. The third model on the list is BB-GT1500 which too matches the features of the models stated above but lacks a numberpad or answerphone. This model will be available for £79.99.




All the handsets stated above have an indoor range of up to fifty metres. Their base stations would be connecting to a normal fixed line phone socket in a similar manner as any cordless phone. All phones will come along with a unique joip number which will be acting as the VoIP number for Globarange joip user. The company will start selling the phones from the month of August in around twelve countries.
