skype

I decided to check out the competition. Gizmo Project, which provides a lot of the same functionality sans video was giving me grief on my Mac, but was working fine on my Nokia N800. I didn't see too many more people on there than usual.
Meanwhile, I fired up SightSpeed and gave their CEO Peter Csathy a call to ask him how much traffic he's seeing on SightSpeed. The answer: almost double their normal.

This is good to finally read! I've been trying to get onto skype as a first time user for weeks, and it's a no go. First it was my firewall and now I finally got some help from the skype forum, but it's a huge, long list of garage I have to read through. I thought skype was supposed to be easy, but it's total crap from what I've experience so far.
